Hey all. Wanted to know, swapped my rad (rotten 4 core), to a 3 core for a while until I can afford a new one. The shroud I have from the 4 doesn't fit the 3. Will the 3 core do a good enough job without the shroud for now? Should I consider changing the thermostat to a slightly cooler one for now? I was thinking about modifing the shroud to fit the 3 core, maybe help direct the flow? Thanks for thoughts, ideas, Blair
The one other significant Thing you can do is install the biggest fan Clutch that will fit on your vehicle-----probably around 100 bucks or so and it will continue to help when you get a new 4 core radiator!!!fd :-X11
GV stands for gear vendors overdrive -----they make a unit that is probably one of the best available , but retails for about 3,000-----consequently , it is out of the financial reach for most folks with old ford trucks----they have a website which is very informitive!!!fd :-X11
