Tranny Worries?
I have 102K on my 350, with about 45K of that pullling a 13k lb 5th wheel. Thirty thousand miles ago my tranny temp did not even register on my guage. Now it is consistently runs at or near 140, with peaks nearing 170 when pulling steep hills. Should I be worried? Needless to say, I am neither mechanically inclined nor experienced.

You trans temperatures are very cool so nothing to worry about. If it gets into the 225 or over then it's getting too hot. You may want to change your fluid. New fluid will cause your clutch packs to slip less. They got friction modifiers in them which wear out. Also keep it locked up in 3rd and OD by moderating the throttle. But if you are in stop and go traffic will heat up your trans since your convertor is constantly slipping and not locked up.
