SD ladder bars
The biggest problem besides size and weight of the rig is axle wrap. The power and ground clearance seem to be the only positives. When trying to accelerate, reverse, or pull something out in soft surfaces, the truck jumps and vibrates violently. This axle wrap causes one to back off the throttle and sometimes buries it. Plus its no fun not bein able to floor it.
Are ladder/traction bars the solution? Any brands you recommend? any other suggestions?

yes but to accomodate the offroad abilities your ladder bars have to be able to articulate with your suspension. you can do it best with one of 2 ways... either a shackle version or a slip shaft version. search around here for setups... we have covered this
