(?) Swapping Factory Radios...
I own a 2000 F150 with a factory AM/FM/casette radio. I am curious if anyone knows if a 2000 factory AM/FM/cd/casette radio will slide right in without having to modify anything? Obviously the front is the same, as are the side mounting clips & plugs, but my existing radio is much smaller at the back (about 1/2 height) than the ones (with cd) that I am finding on eBay.
Appreciate any experienced knowledge on this.

It should be a simple swap, assuming your not going from an audiophile setup to a non-audiophile (or vice/versa), in that case the plugs would be different. If your new stereo doesn't clear the back of the braket, you can easily trim the plastic.
