Need a new project. Cant think of anything new to do to the truck. Maybe buy another truck so I can get real hardcore. So I dont blow up my daily driver.

maybe you can use my truck as your next project. I really wouldn't mind. Just so you have something to do of course.

if it was up to me, a decent OBS reg cab, auto tranny swapped out for a BTS tranny, the proper gears, a 6oh IC, stage 2's, nitrous/propane, all the upgraded fuel/oil delivery systems, hypermax turbo, custom chip, and whatever cool paint job you'd like. can't forget the Stacks too!

why reg cab? well, cause mine full of fuel tips just a hair over 6K pounds...pretty light if ya ask me...

if i had the cash, thats what i'd do. and it would still be a DD. what you think luke? you could pull all that off for about 20K$$ all said n done right? maybe a little less if you do your shopping and get a good deal on the truck to build up.

2x4 or 4x4?

The only things i wouldnt do/ wouldnt be needed with that setup is the n2o and bbq gas. with stage 2's and h2e there is no need for n2o bc smoke is cleared up anyway. Propane would probably work fine if used in moderation, but for what you spend on the cost of injection system and tank you could upgrade to next level of injectors and be much safer power imo.

My ideal engine setup would be brian buntings engine except with twin turbos and set that baby in my ole '96! front and rear lockers, trac bars, the works....

Ahhhhh, if only i could find that ever so elusive money tree, lol

Brian Buntings? haven't heard the name before.

i'd go 4x4.....dual purpose drag and pullin' truck along with the tractions bars and those goodies.

i heard wherebouts of that money tree, i think my buddy said it was in Utopia. but that could be the same buddy that said Chevy was a good truck....i dunno

Brian bunting has the most powerful psd running a single turbo that is small enough to run in street diesel class (i think thats the class). I cant remember what his exact numbers where but it was well over 600hp and 1200tq with plenty of smoke left to clear. He sprayed n2o one event and blew his turbo up btw he is running an ATS aurora 5000.
