pull the head liner and use some spray adhesive to reapply. 3M makes some good ones, get a permanent, not the temparary. just be patient, work from center out and get all the wrinkles as you go. best to remove perimeter trim so you can work easier. trim any excess cloth, replace trimwork. you're done!
i would just remove the entire headliner and replace the cloth, they sell kits containing the new material and the spray adheasive for around $50 and it will only take u a couple hours to complete the task
I know the liner typically starts falling after a hole develops or is poked in it, allowing air from windows-down operation to blow into it and puff it out.
Even with the adhesive, if there's a hole it's gonna do it again, so just replace the whole thing if there is a hole. If not, stick the cloth back on and get on with life!
As others have said; If the liner is in good shape remove the liner to work on it and use the "3-m" spray (it works the best) and a decal roller to press the cloth down. If the cloth is bad or dirty buy a liner kit and replace it with a new one. Many companies sell the kit from 30 - 100 dollars and they are easy to do. I have done several both ways and they look good/lasted for several years!
thanks guys i plan on selling since it has been through hell and back. someone backed into it so now it has a big dent worth $600 and going to try and sell it for $300-$400. so pocket the 600 and and get 300-400 will come out better then without the bent. it has a long list of problems
