I have a 92 F350 4X4 7.3 E4OD built in Canada. Can anybody tell me if the front axle is a full locker or a limited slip.It has automatic locking hubs if that helps any. Thanks,Ron
Look at the driver's door jam Ford factory VIN/Bar Code sticker--under the "axle' category. If there is a three numeric/alpha code--and the last number is "2"--then you have a factory limited slip in the front differential.
For example: F52 would mean that you have a 8250 pound rated rear axle with 4.10 limited slip (F5) and a limited slip also in the front differential(2).
But unfortunately--the factory never installed front limited slips and automatic hubs together. Only manual hubs could have factory limited slips. And I believe--only 3.55 gears could have factory front limited slips.
