gear ratio?

Need some more help guys. does anyone know what size gears they were putting in my truck? It's a 69 f100 2wd (360 with a c6.)

Look on the pinion side of the diff, attached to one of the nuts should be an ID tag.
Or, check your door tag for an axle code.

it should also be stamped on the passenger side axle tube facing the back of the truck close to the center chunk.

Parker, A lot of them came with 3.00 & 3.25 ratios, but anything could have been ordered in or swapped in since 69.

Roll the truck on very level ground one tire revolution and count the driveshaft revs. That is the best way to tell for sure what the actual ratio is.
