Question Horn Location?

Id like to tap a relay into the horn wire to add another horn but I can't seem to pinpoint the location. Sounds like the sound is coming from somewhere near the passenger side battery. Anyone know?

you'll have to take the passenger side fender well loose to get to it, it is behind the battery there

It looks like a pain to remove the fender liner, would I gain access if I removed the battery?

Maybe you can tap into the other side of the wiring harness.

If you remove the pass battery. Under the tray you will find the horn wire. I believe it is Yellow w/ blue tracer. It will supply positive voltage when the horn button is pressed.

That plastic wheel well liner was a bit of a pain to pull out of the way. I pulled mine out about two years ago and remember bending the flange in the wheel well. I abandoned my horn there and butt spliced a few extra inches of wire on to the original wires in order to feed some cheap air horns in the front passenger wheel well. You know the type with the little electric pump. They sounded good on the computer. The website had small sound bits attached to each picture of a horn. But in reality they are not very loud when you are driving fast down the highway. With a 2003 PSD there is no room under the hood anywhere for these horns. So, that is why I stuffed them in the passenger wheel well right behind the bumper facing down so they don't get water in them. I didn't have hundreds to spend on the real air horns. "You get what you pay for".
