Front wheel drive

My parents have a 1997 Buick Lesabre that blew out the tranny at 120,000 KILOMETERS.

Reason why? Keeping my foot on the floor on a parts run! Lost third gear after picking up parts for the '78!!
Chebby can't keep up with us Ford guys I guess!

Hell of an engine though, that 3.8, too bad front wheel drive tranny's suck!

Don't crush them, restore them!

Front wheel drive

I hate front wheel drives. I believe front wheel drive was pushed onto the American public, not because it is a superior design, but because it was cheaper to build. But they are more costly to repair and basically make for a throwaway car. Junk! (IMHO)
