Need some info.
I dropped my f-150 SC w/5.4l/auto off at the service area for them to look at a noise I started hearing comming throught the floor board. The noise only occured ,as far as I could tell, under acceleration. The sound it was making made me belive it to be the tranny having problems.
First, they had me drop it off and when their tranny guy would get free he could drive it and let me know. Well, he drove it and said that he couldn't hear it. I went back up there and sat in the office for 45 minutes until one of the service managers finally rode with me. He heard the noise and said it sounds like the transmission. Got a call yesterday and they say it seems like it is the heater core?!!?
