Random Misfire

I have a 93 f 150 4x4. It sat for close to a year, I decided to bring it back for a work truck. It has a random misfire, I have tried fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, and rotar. I even double checked my wires so they were not crossed or touching. ( for cross fire ) I have plugged it into my OBDII reader and with no ( check engine ) light on i get no codes. Anybody have any other ideas for me. I'm about stumped. I have not tried an O2 sensor could this help?

Thanks, WIT

I doubt the O2 sensor would fix the problem, but it won't hurt your gas mileage.

The truck is OBD-I, not OBD-II. Does your scanner do both? If not, pull the codes. The check engine light doesn't have to be on for there to be codes present.

Start the truck up at night - sometimes you can see arcing of the wires in the dark that you'd miss during the day.
