c-bushings
:-( Does anyone have experience replacing the c-bushings for the radius arms on a 79 f150 4x4? I purchased extended radius arms and installed cheap Pep Boys c-bushings at the time. They never seemed to be in quite right, and that was confirmed after I went wheelin' and one spit out. I now have energy suspension bushings with a flange to keep them in place, but I am having trouble getting everything lined up. The axle is totally disconnected, since I am also installing a new track bar (the old one wasn't long enough). First I installed the c-bushings. But I noticed that one radius arm was at a different angle than the other one, meaning that when I went to install the bushing at the frame, something was going to bind. So I loosened the c-bushings, and slid the frame bushing in. Now it doesn't seem like anything is lined up quite right. Help! Pretty soon I am just going to put a D60 with custom 3-link in just to save me some hassle!
