Installing Factory Nav System
I am installing a Ford 500 Nav System into my 05 F350 and I have a few questions.
#1 - My existing unit has 2 recepticles on the HU but only the 24 pin has any connected to it. What is the other open recepticle for?
#2 - The Nav unit has 3 recepticles and has a 24pin, 16 pin and 8 pin connector with about 6" of wire to each. I am assuming the 8 pin was for a sub. Again, what is the 16 pin for?
#3 - Where should I mount the Nav antenna? Can it be attached to the top underside of the dash?
#4 - Where can I find instructions for the Nav unit?
