I was just looking at some different stroker kits for a 351W. they stary at 377cid and go up to 427cid. Is there any reliability issues with going that big? I heard that a 331 from a 302 works fine, but a 347 is not reliable. Has anyone heard of any problems with any of the 351W kits?
I have been doing a bunch of research lately and from what I can find the newer 347 kits are fine, but I'm not sure on the 351 kits. On some of the earlier 347 kits the piston pin had some interference with the oil ring, but most have solved that now.

HP/TQ estimates, budget, what do you want the power curve to look like? What do you want the torque and horsepower relationship to be like? (more torque than horsepower, at what RPMs? What redline RPM do you wish to have? What RPMs will the engine mostly be used in?
The parts you select will determine what type of power you're engine will make. Either a low RPM torque monster, or the other end of the spectrum a high RPM high horsepower screamer...
