original power steering pump
how much would an original power steering pump be worth on a 1967 f100.
the reason im asking is because there is a truck down the road that has it on it and they want 100 for the entire truck. the rest of the truck is pretty much scrap is it worth it. thanks

$100 does seem like a lot for a ps pump but if there is anything else you can use to justify you should. I am on my third or forth ps pump from O'Reillys in as little over a year in my 73 mustang and this one fades when turning fast. I have had a verity of problems with them like locking up, fading, pulsating. one of the O'Reillys Guys told me there is only one place the remanufactures the ps pumps so all the parts store have the same source. I'm not sure if I should believe that.
