Oil leak?
I have a 2002 F-250 and I just changed the oil the other day and noticed that I had oil running down my pan and tranny. I think I traced the leak to the head gasket. I can see oil underneath the turbo but I am not 100% sure of myself. Do you guys agree with what I'm saying, and how has anyone dealt with this problem?

I would look closer at the turbo pedestal. The O rings may be leaking or the actuator piston thru the hole where the rod goes to the exhaust backpressure valve arm. These would be a lot easier to fix and a lot cheaper, too!

Hi. I just registered at this forum and noticed the post about an oil leak. I had this same experience two weeks ago while returning from a long trip. Took the truck (2002 F-250 Super Duty Diesel) to the dealer for service, and they found a leaking o-ring on the right cylinder head oil plug. The CAC tube, glowplug relay and bracket needed to be removed to get to the plug, but it was all covered under my extended warranty.
