Counting down the days

Hi, this weekend 1996pwrstrk and cookies88 and maybe others will be installing my DP tuner, gauges and valvebody.

My question is with thread about surging I am wanting to get a ATS for my truck…where would be the best place to buy it from and how much can I expect to spend?

Thanks

Yeah i can't wait, should i get the ATS or wait and see how bad it surges? Is it for a fact that the DP Tuner will make it surge with the added horsepower?

I would do it now because you will get surge with your setup. I get it bad.

I do not believe you will have any issues except maybe when towing heavy.

I am slow. I did not think surge was an issue unless towing?

Looking at your sig, I don't see a tuner/chip in it. You will not get surge without one. With the DP-TUNER you will get surge every time you go WOT in anything from 80e up. DP is sooooo bad. lol

You can get surge towing without a chip -- that much is true. I don't think I've heard of anyone getting it stock without towing. I had it bad at about 22-23psi & up, but I put the Wicked Wheel on and it's nice now. I understand the ATS moves more air, which is never a bad thing -- that in combination with a 1.0 exhaust housing will have you a really nice turbo setup ready for some injectors...

Hey guys, i ended up getting the ATS from dieselpowerproducts.com Should it by Friday, just in time for Saturday's big get together. Just wanted to make sure i did it right the first time and not have to add anything else.

So this ATS will definately get rid of any surge without having to add the WW later.

Yes....do remember that I'm thirsty now, and it's only Monday. Imagine how I'll be by Saturday.
