Yellow Paint

This is probably too far off topic, but does anyone know how to get the yellow road paint off fenders and chrome? The county must have painted the roads yesterday and didn't put up any signs. I didn't see it untill tonight. Thanks for your help.

Try a bug and tar remover, Sometimes WD-40 will remove stuff like that too. Good luck!

Try a little acetone on a shop rag.

wd 40 or even some waxes will do it if ya rub a little on it, if ya have some experience you can use laquer thinner but must be very careful as this will reflow the clear and then theres trouble.

MY wife got some on her black car and panic set in on her part. I called two or three body shops and they didn't know of anything; finally a clean up shop suggested a product from Lowe's called M-1. It is not made any more but I understand that Opps has replaced it. It will not hurt paint finish like acetone or paint thinners will. I could not believe how easy it took off the highway yellow paint. Good luck.
