A few have dana 44 instead of the 9" I believe F100 only.

Sometimes they came with a Dana 61. If your gear ratio is a 3.07 or 3.31, it is a Dana 61.

Dana44 is a front axle only.

There were a few dana 44's in the rear end. It is NOT only a front axle.

Removeable carrier (bolts in the front) should be a 9 inch Ford. They are a semi-floating axle. Bearings are pressed onto the axle shafts.
