Hook on my dash
Can anyone tell me why Ford put a hook on my dash in the lower left of center area?

The dealer could not tell me what it was for.

My wife said it looks like it would hold a plastic bag for trash.


I have a 2006 F-250 crew cab super duty.

Your Wife is right it is about time they puy one in ,Washington state requires you have a litter bag in your vehicle most vehicles have no place to hang one.My dealer even supplys the bags free.

I hang the keys for all my projects on it. It is for the garbage bag, but there is no rule as to how to use it.

It's absolutly the stupidest thing I've ever seen in a truck. I want to get rid of it and replace the space with something cool...not sure what though. It would have looked better without anything there at all. IMHO

It's very practical IMO.
Set up a little garbage bag and everything stays nice and clean inside the truck.

Looks?!?! Certain things are practical. You shoul dbe looking in front of you whie driving, not down at the hook.

It's so stupid I can't help but look at it. Kinda like all those Dodge trucks running around out there....the drivers look so stupid I can't help but look at them.
