65 f 250Tailgate protector

Has anyone applied a "tailgate protector" the strip that goes over the top rail of the gate? I have a 65 f-250, putting line x in this weekend, wanted to install that first, having trouble finding one.
Any help/suggestions?

Try one from a 73-79 , the top edge is similar.
