I need a longer front shock

I had pretty well counted on it, but I was hoping I could get away with the stockers for awhile.....

After adding a 2" Fabtech coil spacer, along with my stock snow plow prep springs (#5C34-5310-ACB) my stock FX4 package Ranchos are maxed out

I actually think they might be holding the truck down from its full height, maybe a 1/4" or so. I have 4 full inches of clearance under the bump stop. When I was working on the truck, I had to jack up the axle quite a bit and compress the coil more than i thought I should before I could get the bottom shock bolt back in. I was pulling the shock all the way out and was disappointed that it was fully extended.

So, what do you recommend. I am about to add F350 blocks to the rear (all the OEM Ford parts are in the garage) and already checked the rear shocks out. There is plenty of shock length left in the back, probably 5-6".

Should I just get some longer RS5000s for the front and call it good for now, or replace them all. I am trying to lift the truck reasonably and might possibly come back at it with a DR 4.5" in a few years. So if I go Bilsteins now, I might be wasting the money if I switch to a bigger lift later.

Decisions, Decisions

Thanks for the help!

Bilsteins. They are what $50 extra per pair? In 2 years that is $2/month for piece of mind.
