AC Never Turns Off!
Hey All, it seems no matter what the setting is ie, vent only or vent/floor my ac will turn on(I can here it cycling on and off). I know it will turn on with defrost but it will always turn on. Any ideas? Thanks

I believe that 'panel', 'off', and 'floor' are the only settings where the compressor doesn't run. The panel/floor combinations cause the compressor to run as well as those you expect (A/C & defrost).

I don't know what truck you have, but my '01 SD XLT will not turn on the A/c compressor except when in "A/C", "Max A/C", "Defrost" and "Floor/Defrost" ...
"Vent" will not turn on the A/C compressor, at least in my truck anyway.
Check your owner's manual, that should tell you.
