Overfueled, Going Bald
Im A Tech In Ohio That Is Just About Bald From Trying To Find Info On This 1996 F250 5.8l With Dual Fuel Tanks. When Ran On Rear Tank, The Fuel Return Goesw Into Front Tank Causeing Fuel To Overflow Front Tank And Fill Charchoal Canister. Ive Called 3 Ford Dealers And Noone Can Tell Me How System Is Set Up. I Know How The 85-91 Trucks Were Set Up With Splitters, But No Splitter Here. Does The Fuel Sending Units Have Electronicly Controlled Check Valves Or What??????\ant Information Would Be Very Helpfull.

Each in tank pump has it's own checkvalve. It's a mechanical device that opens when the fuel is pushed through it. They eliminated the valve on the frame and now just splice the lines together. I'd replace the front pump, as it's the bad part.
