need help IDing a 350.

I have a chebbie 350 and i cant seem to find any place that will decode the casting numbers.
numbers are : block 18GM 3956618
heads 18 gm 8917291

the block is from a car from 1969 vehicle. stock horsepower pending on option was either 250 or 255. it is a 2 bolt main. i cant find anything on the heads. call your local parts shop and they can look it up on their books and tell you right there. hope this helps. logan
