Evaporater Access
1998 F-150 Ext cab 2wd Auto.
How do you get to the evaporater coil? I had most of the dash out and still could not get to it. It's right there behind the glove box but I can't get to it.
Any help would be appreciated

take the bolts (7 mm headed) out that hold the dash in place
plus the 10mm headed bolts and braces at the floor
the windshield trim and handles come off too
there is one 7mm up behind the instrument cover too
Its fairly involved but I can do one in about an hour.
once the dash will sit in the seat, the evap case can be loosened from the firewall
pull it back an 1" or so on its studs and then the evap cover can come off and the evap changed.
plus the 10mm headed bolts and braces at the floor
