Broke Ebrake cable, now auto-tensioner doesn't work
I just broke the front ebrake cable. After replacing it, the auto-tensioner on the pedal assembly is no longer working. I'm wondering if there is an easy (or possible) way to retension this thing. When I replaced the cable, I did not have to pull back on the assembly, release the pawl, etc. like I probably should have had to do. Seems like the spring-loaded rotating piece spun around and is not sitting where it should be.
For the record, this is on a 1996 F150.
Thanks!
