Dim headlight help
I have a 78 250 the passenger side headlight stays dim when the lights are on doesn't matter if it's highbeam or lobeam. I tryed tracking down a ground in engine bay but it looks like it all goes to the cab, is there a ground somewhere under the dash? Thanks

I found that one and cleaned it off, that was routed to the turn signal, and didn't help the headlight out at all, I guess I'll just have to break down and crawl under the dash, doesn't sound like much fun. Thanks guys

I've also seen wires deteriorate and corrode inside the insulation and they start losing voltage. Also, check that the terminal is clean (a spray of WD40 will help clean and increase condictivity) and try swaping bulbs just to make sure that's not the issue. If there's a pinhole leak in the bulb and it looses vacuum it will dim.

you have seperate wiring harnesses for each side of the front lights it's a four wire plug under or around the battery tray check that but its usually a bad ground hook a jumper wire to the ground wire connection(black wire) on the back of the headlight socket other end to a good ground like batt - the turn on the lights see if that makes it brighter
