AC clutch not engaging

1994 E 350 7.5L....My AC clutch is not engaging when it should be. There is no juice going to the clutch and I have bypassed the pressure switch and nothing. Does anyone know the locations of any of the AC fuses/relays? I do not have a factory manual and the Hayes manual I have is not telling me where they might be. Any help is appreciated..
Thanks
Gerald

I believe all mine are in a panel under the dash. You might try asking in the heating and cooling forum down the page further.

Ok, several things here, since I am very familiar with AC systems. Absolutely never bypass the pressure switch for any reason. Not even to do a quick test. If it won't engage, connect a manifold guage set, and see what the low side pressure is to determine if it has a low charge. Trying to run the compressor with a bypassed pressure switch can very quickly result in compressor seizure. That is a very expensive way to learn not to do that. If you have a charge, then you should check to see if there is power to the clutch. Connect a multimeter to theclutch power wire, and run the ac and see if it cycles the multimeter. If so, then the problem is inside the compressor clutch. If there is no power, then the problem lies elsewhere in the system. The fuse for the AC will be in the fusebox under the dash. It is on the drivers side. Little black box. You really need a factory manual. Go to your local junkyard and get one, or try to find one for sale on Amazon or eBay.

Thanks for the advice guys..I did not run the compressor to check it..I had a test light to check for power going to it. I did buy a guage and the system was low. I was jumping the wrong sensor. After the system was recharged it worked great. What would be the proper pressure on the lowside with the system running. I used the guage and the "fully charged" part on the guage read between 35-45. Is this correct or do these they require more/less.
Thanks
Gerald

Actually, it is the high side that needs to be guaged as the system charges, and that reading varies with outside temperature, measured 2 inches in front of the condensor.
