Overhead console guages

I have an 05 SD with the moonroof. It has the spot for the small overhead console with the guages/LED's. Can I but the console and simply plug-n-play? In other words, is all the wiring in place to just install it in the truck and have it working?

Are you looking for the Temp and compass? I think that they are a part of the rearview mirror now. I'm sure someone that knows better will post, but my salesman told me that the O/H consoles are no more.

No, they still have the overheads from what I can find out.

When you find one, could you let me know where. Like I posted, My salesman told me that the 2005's did'nt have it anymore. Do you think he may have been unmotivated to find me a truck with one?

My '05 has the O/H console and sunroof. The readout for the direction is next to the odometer and the outside temp displays on the HVAC control panel. The O/H console only has the lights and switches for the lights and sunroof but also has the blank where the multifunction display used to be before they moved it to the instrument panel. The overhead console is listed in the '06 options and has sunglass storage and garage door opener locations if you have the super cab or crew cab without the sunroof.

I haven't seen either display in my truck. Is it an option or something? Yes I see where the display USED to go. Sucks they don't have them anymore.

For 05 the display is on the dash,(atleast that's where it is on my buddies 05 Lariat)not overhead like the 04's.
The overhead console is different also.
