IGNITION MODUL 3WIRE vs 4 wire
I bought a Duraspark Ignition mod. on Evil-bay, (supposedly for my application) 86 f250 460...The old one has 6 wires (blue grommet) but the evil-bay one has only 5 wires(brown grommet). My question is on the dizzy plug there is a green, ...neg coil, orange and purple to the pickup mag, and black to grd.. Has anyone ever heard or used this "evil 3-wire dizzy plug" it still has the 2 wire red and white power plug

Baarca Never heard of an evil 3 wire, but I do know that if the previuos ing module had a blue tag under the wires, and this new 1 has a brown tag than it will not work for u as you will need to have the same color inorder for the ing to work correctly, basicaly saying I have tried a similar swap as u with my 84 Merc Marquis but to no avail, I had to go and get a module with a blue tag, I hope this helps ya out a bit with that extra wire
