NP 205
dana 24
so if i buy A USED NP205 I CAN SWAP IT IN FOR THE 2HI/4HI ONE I HAVE
ALSO WHAT CAN I USE TO REDO THE BUSHINGS THAT ARE HOLDING T CAS I THINK THIS IS WHY MY MINE MOVES CAUSE THE RUBBER IS WORN OUT iT LOOKS VERY BRITTLE AND SQUISHED THANKS
idgit , If you find a 205 to install in place of the one you have---you had better make sure --that--it was from a divoraced setup , cause the married 205 has a DIFFERENT set of mounts and won't work!!also , check with the ford dealer and see if he has a new set of bushings to fit your truck----if not , take an old bushing to napa as you should beable to match it fairly closely!!!ALSO---look in the tech section as there is an article by James Oxley on how to build a cradle to hold the 205 while you reinstall or remove from its mount.....fd
