Bought a 2000 limited 4wd v10 X with 56K about two months ago. Its still under the dealer warrenty so i took it back to the to have a broken manifold bolt changed and the brakes looked at.Manifold bolt done in one day but they've had my truck for 10 days now trying to figure out the brakes. here is whats been changed. both front calipers, rotors and front brake lines. still pulls to left . any ideas as to what might cause this? this happens only after the brakes warm up. they had replaced the lower right ball joint before i bought it and now they are going to change the lower left saying it has play in it now. thanks for any ideas. the dealership seems to be willing to change whatever might fix it but i think they are running out of parts to shotgun in. not that i will mind having a basically new front end when i get it back but i miss my x and driving the wife's
go-cart(firebird) is giving me a complex.
thanks

Not to push you off but if you search for brake pull both here and the Super Duty forum you'll find HUNDREDS of post concerning it and more than one solution to fix it.
You see, there is so much info already covered about it that I couldn't possibly do it any justice by posting it all here. Plus that's a lot of typing!
well here is an update. after changing all the parts the dealership finally got it fixed. turns out that the mount for the left caliper was tweeked. causing the brakes on that side to rub the rotor causing heat. long story short i now have a pretty much new front end and it brakes straight.
