One more rebuild question...

Ok, just woke up this morning and I go out to the truck, and turn it over a few more times with no plugs and no coil on, with a screwdriver at the solenoid, so, i go on to do the rest of the hook-ups, and now the key doesnt do anything? I get headlights, radio, dash lights, gauges, but no fuel pump prime like i used to always hear and no starter turn? Could this be becasue some of the wiring in the transmission is not hooked up? btw, the ECU is for sure geting power i checked it out, and it is all hooked up properly, underneath the hood t least...my dog went and chewed up the wires that go to the transmission...is this relevant to the ECU powering the fuel pump and sending the signal to the solenoid to start the truck? thanks ALOT .

Yes. What about the neutral safety switch wiring?

this might be a dumb question but did you hook the ignition wire back up to the starter solenoid? that will do that.

I figured it all out it was the neutral safety switch, and my fuel pump relay was shot because water got itno it somehow and rusted the contacts. Thanks for the help guys.
