I have a few questions. I recently bought a 73 2WD SB crewcab and am in the process of restoring and making a few changes. In doing so Im running into a few crewcab only problems.
The first questions is has any one installed a headliner in one of thease beasts? If so how did you do it did you use the orignal card board and recover it or did you change it completely? Also does any one know where to get the plastic trim that goes in the center of the head liner?
Next does anyone have a line on crewcab rear door pannels?
I am also planning on installing 4WD in this truck. Every thing that I have read Says the front lief spring shackle and shackle mount that goes on the frame are diffrent from a regular High-boy. I have had little luck in finding them. If any one has a sorce for thease please let me know.
Last I posted this last week and got some response and I thank those who responded but I figured I ask again. Im looking for a sorce for a rubber floor mat. one that goes front to back and does not stop half way under the back seat. I checked JC Whitney cat. they list one for a super cab but not a crew cab.
This board is the best Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Jul-02 AT 03:53 PM (EST)]Well you just found out the two hardest things about the crewcab. I've looked for the rear door panels and I haven't found anyone who makes them. Mine were in good shape but I was thinking about getting a different color, but of course no luck! I'll just paint them when it comes time for that part of the restoration. The plastic piece for the headliner is something I couldn't find either. I luckily found one in a junkyard that was in great shape. I was going to find some back metal headliner pieces from a junkyard and use them to replace the plastic piece before I found the one that I got now. I test fitted the ones I had and it seemed to work with just a little trimming. If you need rear door handles I found that early 70's Ford Torinos are exactly the same. As for converting a 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive I talked to a guy who did that very thing with a 70 crewcab and he said that it wasn't to big of a project. He said the frames were the same. As for rubber flooring I found that Autocrafters has it, but I don't know what it looks like.
