Will it push it ??
I have a '78 F150 4X4 with a 300-6 im running 4.11 wiht 32x11.50's. I'm planing on putting a 302 out of a '84 F150. If I add a 6in lift and 36x12.50 will the 4.11 and the stock 302 push it. Or will I have to do some valvetrain and intake modifications ????

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 02-Jul-02 AT 04:28 PM (EST)]With the 302 and 4.11's I don't think you'll have two much problem puching 35's butI wouldm't go any taller then 35's, but to run the 36 12.5's you want you'll need to put some work into the motor. A stock 302 dosn't have much power to start so I would bump up the cam and put a nice 4 barrel like a 550 or 600CFM that would give you a nice boost in power. That with the 4.11's will help out. Im running 33 12.5's on my 1979 and its under powered with a 351m but of course these 3.55 gears dont help any.
