Best Stock SBF Head

Which small block ford 289/302/351W head performed the best right from the factory? Also do the E7's flow better than the E5's?

Right out of the box, I would have to say the GT40 heads from some Cobra's or 93-95 Lightnings, or the Explorer GT40P heads. Some early 351W heads are pretty good, but would need a little work to equal the 1st two I chose.

Some of those early 351 heads may need hardened valve seats to run unleaded as well. From my research I would agree with Steve, unless your talking aftermarket, and then I would say AFR.
