I bought my truck and didn't realize it had gas caps that require a key. The guy I bought it from only gave me the ignition/door key. This won't open the gas caps.
How do you get the freaking things off? I'm running out of gas and need to put some in there
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Jul-02 AT 04:43 AM (EST)]if you cant get in touch with the guy you bought it off and get the key,you can always take it to a locksmith or........
you can stick a screwdriver in the keyhole and tear the thing apart piece by piece most are not built like masterlocks and are just pot metal and tin plate.ive used big flathead screwdrivers and needlenose pliers to take them apart before.it takes awhile and theres a few annoying things that slow you down but they mostly come apart pretty easy.
and it that dont work take a torch and.......j/k :-staun
