Tilt Column Bearings `89 Clubwagon

My Steering Wheel is "wobbly" on the Tilt portion of the Steering Column and when I turn the Steering Wheel there is some "binding and a rubbing noise". Noise seeems to be coming from just underneath the Steering Wheel. The wheel will not self center after turning a corner in either direction. I`ve been told by a repair facility that the "Tilt Shaft Bearing(s) " need replacing. I removed the Steering Wheel, turn signal switch, ignition lock, tilt cover, etc.... to inspect the "Shaft and Bearing". The shaft does move quite a bit in the bearing. Having never worked on this type of repair before, can my fellow FTE`s give me some "know how" on how to disassemble the rest and to replace the bearings. Are special tools required to remove the "Pivot Pin" for the tilt flange? Or can I use common tools? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
