overdrive for a NP 435

I have a 77 F-250 with a built 400M and stock NP 435 tranny. I was looking for info on getting an overdrive so I can get better fuel mileage on the highway. Currently to go the highway speed the engine is turning around the 3000 RPM range. To lower the RPM would surely increase fuel milage. Any info?

Lookup the website for gearvendors overdrive---it is probably the best unit currently available, although pricey at 2600 or so....fd
