any one have any experence with these? Are they avalable in any color or just red? does any one know who manfacturese these? also any info is good. thanks
Used them MANY years ago, but I'm sure they are not the same as the ones now, they were made with real wire conductor back then! came on a spool you cut to length and added boots and crimp on terminals. Of course we only had AM monaural radios back then so radio interference wasn't a big deal...
I had a set of blue ones on my sandrail but they were crap and the thing kept mifiring...not cool on a turbo...any way swapped them out with a real set of wires and all was good..had the cool clear blue cap too...junk as well
The flattie guys round here are using the Monster cable from best buy. It comes in clear vinyl jacketet copper. A resistor is used on some that I have seen.
I've used the 7MM clear red ones sold by the hotrod shops on my flathead. Couldn't keep them from crossfiring between cylinders 1/2 and 6/8. Finally scrapped them for a quality set of regular wires. Not as 'cool' but work 100% better than the clear ones. I won't use them again.
