I just got my 2004 SuperCrew back from Bahrain (the Navy stationed me there for a year) and due to the crazy driving situation there (0-90mph-0-90-0...), the dealer informed me both the front and rear brakes needed to be replaced. This is after only 14000 miles!
I just got done doing it myself (no brake job is worth $680.00 for pads and turned rotors) and they work fine, however the parking brake is about useless. I quickly figured out the rear brakes have an inner drum brake design in the rotor, but I don't see any obvious access hole to adjust the shoes. I haven't been able to find a Haynes manual so I was hoping someone could give me a quick procedure to get them adjusted. Thanks in advance.
