It's amazing, but every time I have seen an 85 F150 with a Cammer in it I forgot to look at the heater box clearance.
If you are serious, you are undoubtedly the first to do it, so you'll just have to get out the measuring tape. Since you will be fabricating everything related to motor mounts and exhaust, you can position the engine wherever you want it.

That said, take some measurements. That's all I can tell you. Get out there with your tape measure and go to town.
Never mind what I just said. The cammer sucks, all that timing chain is a PITA. Worthless motor. I'll at least give you the $100 it's worth in scrap iron. I've got a very nice, narrower 390 I'd let you have in exchange too!
Well first of all you would need 30k and I already have a 427 sohc in my 65 falcon my grandfather used to race. The other one was a blown motor out of the same car, that I have not finished rebuilding yet not enough money. and no neither are for sale
