Tymar Intake
I have a '02 F-350 4x4 auto 7.3 I am just wounder how much a a decrease of EGT are people getting by putting in a cold air intake over the stock air box? I am looking at the "Tymar Intake" andjust woundering if peopl are seeing any sort of EGT decrease. Thanks for your help.

Their have been a few people on this site that ran tests that concluded that @ highway speeds their is only 5-10 deg difference over ambient. Actually they claim a open element filter will decrease egt's a little because the engine can suck more air. In reality the best reason for using the tymar is outstanding filtering capability's. No more worries about sucking dirt!
