5r75 problem

I think my 05 has a transmission problem already. When i got from P to R or D it takes a second for the transmission to engage fully. If i go from R to d and hit the accelerator right away, the transmission feels like it is in N then it grabs and goes. The delay is like 1 second. I have also noticed that when i am parked on an incline and get back in the truck, I put it in R and i hear a loud clunk and you can feel it. Is that just driveline tension? Like really bad? My 03 expedition has these same oddities, but the 4.0 03 exporer does not. Is the delay just the computer thinking? thanks

from talking to Ford trans. engineers a 1 second delay isnt that long, usually i dont do anything to one till its at 3-5 seconds.but it could be a pressure solinoid starting to try and stick.the other thing about parking on a incline, set your emergency brake before you put the vehicle into park.when you get in put it in gear and release the e brake.it takes a little getting use to but works.
