Whats this frame worth?
I've been talking to a guy about a 79 4wd f250 frame to put my 77 on but i dont really have any idea how much it's worth. It's a complete truck except hes taking the body off for somthing else. It has dana axles, 4 spd tranny with granny 1st, 351m engine, and a new muffler and cat. It has regular rust and the transmission and motor and everything run good but i really dont know how much its worth. Any have an idea?

which frontend?
The front end would make a difference, I have purchased these from $200 to a $1000 depending on engine how it runs, can I hear it run? has it been covered up the whole time? I definetly wouldn't give any more than that unless it was exceptional.

The engine and everything has been covered by the body he put on it but hes going to do something else with that body but its by no means perfect.It's got the standard rust on it that you would see on any other 79 truck. The axles are dana 60 in rear and HD dana 44 in front, a 205xfer case and NP 435 tranny.

Are you taking the whole truck or just the frame/driveline? If your taking just the frame/driveline I'd only go $2-300 max. Are you sure it's the Dana 44 HD (big hub) and not the 44 9F (little hub)
Depending on where you are at and availability of parts trucks the market is down. Most parts trucks around here go $3-700 complete.
