Alternator Wiring?
The big wiring connector on my 91 explorer is causing the battery light to come on and not let the battery charge, but if I wiggle the wire it will go away. Does anybody sell just that replacement connector where I can cut and spice the wires?
Will that connector come with a new alternator?

I believe its possible to just disconnect and put a new wire on . it should just unplug and you may have to go under the truck and un bolt the other end. i think the wire if im not mistaken the B+ terminal wire you are talking about

I believe that a plug comes with an alternator. Check at a local parts store. I know it comes with an alternator for a '91 Ranger with a 3.0L V6. In fact, it is a requirement that you change it because of fire potential if the old plug gets loose. The instructions even say not to plug it up until everything else is done so that you will not have to pull it off once it's plugged up. You may be able to get just the plug, but I don't know.
