How should these look when my van is unloaded? Right now when it's parked they are basically flat. The cargo area is carpeted and insulated.
If, as I fear, they are sagging and need to be replaced, how hard is it to find replacements? I'm hoping to tow a car in the future so this might be an opportunity to upgrade, but cost is an important factor.
After a trip where we loaded the hell out of the van I noticed the springs were sagging even after it was unloaded.
I had a shop say they could "re-bend" them. They also said they added another leaf. I think the results were kinda mixed. It was too high to begin with after that, later sagged back down some. If I could go back, I think I would have either gotten new springs or just add an air ride in back. That should have not only provided support to accomodate the sagging springs but allowed my to adjust the rear suspension. And the systems on eBay aren't too different than what I paid these guys.
