bad idle

i have a 95' f-150 300 I6. I changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, rotor button, distributer, ignition coil and module, throttle body gasket, and a few vac. hoses. some of the above were bad but i just did it all anyway. It shakes really bad at idle and doesnt seem to have the power it did before. Any one have an idea to help me out Thanks.

maybe one of the plug wires is on wrong.

maybe vacuum hose is loose.

go over everything you did and you will find something out of whack.

I just had the same problem with a 94 I6. First pull your codes to see what if your o2 sensor is reading lean. If so check for vacume leaks including the upper and lower intake gaskets. If you cant find any leaks have the map sensor checked. On mine i replaced the intake gaskets because they were leaking ( I checked then by spraying carb cleaner on them and the motor idled up) . BUt this didnt fix the entire problem. I then pulled codes again and it was still reading lean. So I had a friend at the ford dealer ship check my sensors and the map sensor was bad eventhough I didnt get a code for it. Replaced the mad sensor ($75) and now runs like new again. Good Luck
